Rugby Football Club (Women's)
Oxford University Women's Rugby Football Club provides an environment where rugby can be played by any woman regardless of ability. At OUWRFC we want to nurture our players and ensure excellent retention levels by developing a club that has good training facilities, outstanding coaching and a fun social environment.
On and off the field the club continues to become increasingly more professional and whilst we must embrace the modern way, it is essential that we remain focused on being a ‘real’ rugby club for our players, former players and supporters. OUWRFC prides itself as being one of the only university clubs in the country to regularly turn out two teams, a first team and a second team (Panthers) and will continue to do so with lots of hard work from everyone involved in the club.
Whilst OUWRFC is responsible for the development of women's rugby within the University, it is dependent on sponsorship and contributions from its alumni. Any contributions will help with the cost of training facilities and equipment, the provision of quality coaches, transport and cuppers development. The club’s long term aim is to find a suitable venue for additional grass training.
Your support is gratefully received and will be much appreciated.
