Oxford Academicals Rowing Club
Oxford Academicals Rowing Club (OARC) was formed in 2004 as the rowing club for University faculty, staff, and postgraduate students.
We offer year-round recreational rowing and racing, and run popular 'learn to row' courses each summer for those new to the sport, for postgraduates, post-doctoral fellows, researchers, and other University staff with or without affiliation to colleges, and for the wider University and local communities.
Based in rented space at the Isis boathouse above Iffley Lock, OARC is very grateful for contributions towards new equipment, which help us to improve, update and enlarge our fleet of sweep and sculling boats for men and women.
