St. John's College

Founded in 1555 by Sir Thomas White, a London cloth merchant, St John's occupies extensive grounds in the heart of Oxford, with award-winning architecture and some of the most beautiful gardens in the city. St John's College is academically one of Oxford's most successful colleges. Attracting students from a wide range of backgrounds, it enjoys a lively, stimulating and supportive atmosphere. Gifts from our alumni and friends will help us enhance our effort to ensure no student is deterred from applying, nor undergoes excessive financial hardship whilst at College.
