Giving to the Boardman Scholarship
The Master of Science in Environmental Change and Management is acknowledged as a world leader in its field. This unique and ground-breaking course was created, designed, and then run since 1994 by Drs John and Brenda Boardman at the University’s Environmental Change Institute.
In addition to a growing global network of graduates occupying ever more influential positions in government, business, research, and civic society, the course has spawned a remarkable bond of friendship among alumni across nationalities, cultures, and ages, a tribute to the values which John and Brenda instilled in their students.
John and Brenda are retiring in 2008. In recognition of their extraordinary contribution to international environmental education, ECI is asking alumni of the course and others to make a gift in support of future students through the funding and awarding of an annual Boardman Scholarship.
